I am currently a “VIP member” or an “SVIP member”. If I do not upgrade my account, what functions will I retain and when the change will be effected?

For SVIP members who have conducted onsite face-to-face registration, you will be automatically migrated to become the new SVIP+ members. 
 
As for other existing VIP and SVIP members, the eID system will automatically identify and then migrate those who are eligible to become our “VIP+ members”. Once you are a VIP+ member, you will be entitled to access and enjoy all TNG premium services the same as new SVIP+ members, though with lower transaction limits.  Meanwhile, those existing VIP and SVIP members who are not eligible will receive an individual notice requesting you to perform certain actions before certain deadlines. If you have not successfully completed the relevant process before the deadline, you will then be migrated as a “normal member” and can access the services and functions available to this type of membership.  Should you wish to perform the functions available only to SVIP+ members, you would need to go through the prevailing account verification process.
 
At any time, pre-existing VIP and VIP+ members can be upgraded to SVIP+ members eID or attend to onsite face-to-face authentication.
